We Offer the Following Seven Programs

Youth Program

A program with four books, 3 to 6 months lesson plan, focusing on basic exercises, learning easy chords and songs, melody reading and basic theory.

Basic for Beginners

For all ages focusing on proper technique, coordination exercises, scales, chords, melody reading, basic arpeggios and introduction to Pop, Country, Rock, etc.

Beginners and Intermediate Classical

For all ages, focusing on proper posture and technique, arpeggios, coordination exercises, melody reading, two voice and chord reading on standard notations using international well-known methods. Studios and entry-level classical pieces, dynamics and music interpretations.

Beginners and Intermediate Jazz

For all ages, focusing on learning harmony: Majors, minors, dominant sevens, major sevens, nines, elevens, thirteens, augmented, diminished, natural and altered tensions, applied with scales and chords on electric, acoustic and nylon strings guitars. 
Modes and their application. Chord progressions, melody and chord symbols reading. Improvisation over jazz standards and composition.

Beginners and Intermediate Ukulele

Beginners: Focusing on the proper way to hold the instrument and basic technique.
Entry level chords and rhythms, learning to read tablature and easy songs. 

Intermediate: Learning to read standard notation and cord symbols, advanced harmony, from natural tensions to altered tensions, basic to complex rhythms, introduction to Hawaiian strumming patterns. 

Playing solo pieces and chord melody jazz style.

Beginners and Intermediate Bass

Beginners: Coordination exercises, learning to read bass clef and tablature. Root, fifth and octave workout, applied in ballads, pop and easy rock songs.

Intermediate: Focusing in develop the bass clef reading, introduction to walking bass, applied to jazz standards, introduction to slap technique, applied to proper songs.

Improvisation and learning solo pieces.

Theory & Harmony

Focusing on solfeo reading and rhythmic exercises. Key signatures and their relation with the circle of fifths. Understanding intervals, triads, majors, minors sevens etc.

Harmonizing a melody, four voice harmony, V7 dominant application, Arrangements and Compositions.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday from 3 to 9 PM & Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM

Online Lessons

Thanks to advances of technology, you can receive your lessons in the comfort of your home. All you need to do is download Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, WatsApp, Messenger, etc., on your computer, tablet or cellphone.

The lessons are half to an hour long, depending on your schedule and level. These are private, one to one, online instructions.  Another benefit to online lessons is that you can take pictures of the lesson plans, or I film with authorization.
