A Remarkable Musical Journey
Diana Green has become like family to us. As my ukulele student for several years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing her remarkable growth. From mastering basic chords and strumming Hawaiian rhythms to arranging an impressive repertoire that spans pop music and jazz standards for solo ukulele using classical techniques, her progress has been nothing short of inspiring.
From Student to Arranger
Diana has taken her musical journey into her own hands, creating unique arrangements of beloved songs, including Christmas carols, classics by John Denver, and timeless pieces like “Moon River” and “What a Wonderful World.” Currently, we are collaborating on an arrangement of “Hello Dolly,” consistently building upon her skills with each new piece. In fact, we are planning to publish a book titled Chord Melody Ukulele Solos.
Performing and Recording with Purpose
In addition to her arrangements, Diana has participated in numerous recitals, recordings, and video projects. I am thrilled to announce our upcoming video recording, featuring her arrangement of the beautiful song “Mary, Did You Know” for ukulele and guitar. Stay tuned for updates on the release date, which will be shared on our website and social media platforms.
